These female figures, alone or in groups, present a series of contradictions in their solid restlessness. The dialogue between the forms is of mass and unit, harmony and discord, stillness and movement. Their collocation in landscapes or interiors creates a sense of belonging while at the same time retaining a feeling of alienation.
The figures are seated but they are not passive.They are conscious and alert forms.
